Akbrella privacy policy: what data we process, why, and your rights.

The data controller is Akbrella Şemsiye San ve Tic A.Ş. Personal data is processed under Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we process

Quotation form: name, company, phone, email, message. Membership: full name, nickname, email, mobile phone, country, city; optionally company, profession, interests, introduction text and photos. Technical data: IP address and security logs.

Purposes and legal basis

To answer your request, run your membership, provide PDF and marketplace services and prevent abuse (contract, legitimate interest). Promotional emails and WhatsApp messages are sent only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw in every message.

Sharing

Your data is never sold. Other members only see the profile details you mark as “visible”. Our hosting and email providers process data solely to provide their services.

Retention

Membership data is kept while your account exists, quotation requests for up to 3 years. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 14 days and generated PDF files after 24 hours.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. You can delete your account yourself in your panel or contact us via the Contact page.
